Raccoons Show Off Their Intelligence in Aesop's Fable Experiment

We know that raccoons are smart, but this experiment takes their intelligence to another level.  This scientific demonstration was inspired by Aesop’s fable, “The Crow and the Pitcher,” to study if and how raccoons understand and determine cause and effect.  While they didn’t pass this particular test in the way scientists may have anticipated, these masked critters found some pretty unique ways to undermine the traditional concept of the study.  To read more about what the raccoons did to surpass obstacles in this experiment, check out the link below for the story!
